Esoteric art
My artistic practice is an extension of my lifelong fascination and study of esoteric topics and Christian mysticism. I often utilize the language of symbols, and pay my respect to the human anatomy, to encode deeper meanings within my compositions, requiring the viewer to look beyond the immediate image.
Some of my works center around the duality of life and death. I invite the viewer into a space of contemplation, a space of pause. Each piece is a meditation on the theme and meaning.
My process is a ritual of translation, turning abstract esoteric and theological concepts into tangible, visual forms.
